Even if you have gone through the writing and editing process yourself, everyone benefits from having one last set of eyes look at a piece of writing before it is published. Proofreading ensures that no typos, misspellings, or grammar or punctuation errors see the light of day. This is the final step necessary to produce professional-quality writing every time you press “publish”.
